Honestly my grandma’s cat used to like going outside and being walked like a normal dog. He acted more like a dog to be honest. I feel like steven is being himself.

I doubt it’s actually off model. Sports bras are designed to compress, so Bev looks flatter than without the bra in the first place. Plus, that half-jacket thing she’s wearing is kinda loose (look how far it comes from her waist in panel 3) and conceals further.
On the contrary, Tara is slouching in panel 3, which makes her breasts fall forward AKA look bigger. AFAICT, it’s boobs physics and only looks weird at first glance because it looks “different from usual”.

This kinda reminds me of a NPC pig my players had with them that turned out to be the parent of one of the players who disappeared years ago. Turns out he made fun of a witch’s hat to get cursed
I’m pretty sure Tara is somehow more accustomed to the supernatural than Beverly.
Remember, the Witch/Succubus came from Tara elaborated roleplay before they cannocically met in lore (it’s acknowledged in the comic).
I think Tara (and, to some extent, Noah) lived in an urban fantasy setting, while Bev and Sarah live in a paranormal mystery situation. The first see the supernatural as chill and normal, the last see it as bizarre and ominous.
I’m intrigued by the timing of this arc. It’s the first arc after Sarah, the one person who can translate for Steven, has moved in next door. Now we’ve got an arc all about Steven.
