I just want to know how the Nortverse got classic American suburban housing AND an efficient high speed rail system in the same country.
Also, yeah, I hope they’ve been banking their Doordash credits, because after these three days they aren’t gonna be leaving the bedroom until after New Years.
The power outlets in Siobhan and Gary’s house seem to be Schuko system, maybe the semikompatible Type F that is used in France, Poland and former Czechoslovakia.
I think the train in this comic is either a regional train or a TGV Duplex, while the Train in Broke Backpacking #1 is (of all train designs I know or found to compare) either an altered version of a DB train or of a train from Croatia.
The power outlets are European, either Schuko or Type F, and the train in the background here looks a lot like an SNCF TGV Duplex. The train in Broke Backpacking vaguely resembles a Croatian train, maybe a German one, but the car shape doesn’t match the stripe(s) there. The interior would match the colors of the outside well, though.
Could they possibly be somewhere along the Northeast Corridor? It’s the only high-speed railway in the US, and the train does look like the Acela Express.
I thought the first date was discussing going out on a date, the second date was the moving in together, the third date was the wedding, and now they’re on they’re fourth date.

During all of the “sleeping apart” nights of my longest relationship, it was difficult. Both in falling asleep and staying asleep.

This *realization* may have been even more disastrous than expected

I was expecting the realization to have some kind of positive reassurance conclusion rather than making Bev go “Oh God no.”

It’s like a lesbian first date that lasted 6 years. The good news is when they get back home they can start their second date!

… And I misspelled “their” and am mortified and can’t edit it.
I must now wear the “Scarlet Letter” (the letter “I” for illiterate) wherever I go.

Good job, Tara, you broke Beverly.

Can confirm. Had a job that required me to work away from home for weeks on end.
Partner was… unenthusiastic to say the least.

That moment when you realize you have no idea anymore what it is like to sleep alone.
