Tara said something along the lines of how her parents were more surprised about her coming out as bi (since they thought she was a lesbian) than they were at Noah coming out as trans.
Aside from it being mentioned, Sarah has seen Noah without a shirt and he has scars from his surgery. I don’t remember if they walked into Penny while he was shirtless, though.
