Nice framing sequence.
Tara leaning in to a relaxed and open Bev.
Sarah leaning in to a relaxed and open Noah.
Gary trying to join a tense and leaning-away Siobhan, with the addition of a drink visually separating them.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but buckle up because: everyone has a obvious cocktail/beer drink except Bev. Might just be a gin and tonic, or might be that Bev is doing preggers prep. I’m calling it now and if I’m wrong I’ll deny everything. I don’t recall if Bev just doesn’t drink.
That is (usually) reserved for Halloween. Though, Nort can always simply add whatever they want to their story.
I would definitely not complain about whatever’s coming.
She’s been in the sun, so it’s not surprising. Might be surprising for them to appear after just one day in the sun, but not surprising that they’ve come back.
The same as the Witch and her hostal appeared first in role play and later in reality, I strongly suspect the ruins are the same that appeared in their D&D game. With predictable consequences

Noah has a point though. Sandra craves closeness, basically demanding to be held by Noah before she will/can sleep, and enjoys sunbathing. Those are two very ‘cat’ things.

Don
Bev doesn’t drink. Nort established that back on their first date.

That was not the way I thought the comment was going.
Thought you were going to suggest the parents might get a divorce.

Ah yes, the only reason to not imbibe in a harmful toxin

I hope ancient ruins is a segway towards weird mystical shenanigans this comic occasionally dips into.

Gary should go on that walk with Steven. Jut in case he gets lost, his daughter can call for Seven and he will appear next to her.

I wish there was a way to edit or delete my poorly spelled comments. Jut=just, Seven =Steven. 🙂
The Borfening
Current theory: Gary met Simon on his walk, who was investigating the ruins because reasons, giving Gary and Siobhan reason to meet Simon and Donna.
Hizzah, everyone (except Bev) get awkward time at once!
a reader among thousands
It can’t be Simon, else Steven would have being extremely friendly with him, to the point that Gary would have said it.
Good for Thought
Tara and Noah both seemed really whiny so far this day, considering their parents paid for a trip (and their houses).
Witch of many Jobs
Five bucks say these are Steven related ruins. Maybe they discover some kind of lost Elder Terrier civilisation.
Zerker
Tara rocking Nami’s fit from the strong world movie so well
Roronoa zoro
Are you a one piece fan?Because Tara’s outfit is the exact same outfit.Nami Was wearing in the strong world One piece movie
X Marcs the Spot
Tara’s freckles are back!
