Im really glad we can see some of Bev’s lower moments and maybe explore some of her insecurities and see how Tara deals with that. Im positively surprised and hope for a heartwarming moment by the end

Right from the start of this storyline Bev has been obviously concerned about this trip.
Bev: I know you’re convinced this is gonna suck but I think you’ll enjoy it.
Tara: Oh I definitely won’t. However I am fully committed to tolerating it.
😿
I suspect Bev is trying her best to be positive while beating herself up internally over ‘making’ Tara do this. And Tara just isn’t catching on that her good-humoured pessimism is making Bev feel worse.
Nah I think it’s more that she had planned on a proper camping trip, and Tara has booked them into a cabin on a whim without really discussing it. It’s not the trip she envisioned
I think it’s more that Tara wasn’t enjoying the ‘tenting’ trip, which she was dreading to start with – and even *she* wasn’t enjoying it, for reasons other than Tara’s ‘meh’, so she’s likely really upset about both ‘forcing’ Tara into it, and not being able to show her the good side of it. Though Tara’s jumping on an excuse to get out of it probably isn’t helping, it seems more like icing on the cake, than the cake itself.
Maybe the next strip will have them openly communicating and resolving whatever is bothering Beverly so we can go back to funny and sexy times. Lack of communication in any story drives me nuts, it’s overdramatic and frankly boring, but it seems particularly odd here, since so far I’ve gotten the impression these two don’t usually hide stuff from each other.
I recently read the Nortverse Wiki. https://nortverse.fandom.com/wiki/Nortverse Who writes these things? Fans? The comic creator? It says Nortuet is a Norwegian man; I figured the creator was a woman. 🙂 It even refers to Steven’s supernatural powers.
Bev goes out of her way to do everything for Tara but even when going along with Bev’s plan Tara is still batching and now she’s dragged Bev to a cottage somewhere turning the trip into something more for her than for Bev

Matrix
The part where she pauses just before she opens the door really hits me at my core

Dang, I did not notice that. But yeah now I see it!

I’m going to guess that it is not an issue involving her health. She would not lie to Steven, would she?
X Marcs the Spot
She’d have to be a real monster to lie to Steven. She’s not like that.

Witch of many jobs
That is a very lovingly drawn muscular back and I am very thankful for it.
Satyr
Gods this hurts to see.

The use of body language here is just amazing. Saying so much in the first three panels without using a word. Very impressive work!

Remember kids, it is NEVER too late to turn back. No matter what, you can ALWAYS say “I was wrong” and go back.
