This is a supernatural scenario. Sharing a dream is meant literal here, there is one dream and they’re both in it, cause Magic. And the Scenario suggests that it is Tara’s Dream they’re in, and Bev is basically a visitor. Taras Mind is running the dream and Bev has joined the session remotely.

i said that stuff about the Dream Sharing as reply to your suggestion of it happening, as an excercise in idle thought. Personally i have no idea what is actually going on right now, and i say we simply don’t have enough data at this point to make even informed guesses beyond “it’s not real”. I actually think that the whole page about the Gas Leak was the start of the “it’s not real”-part. The actual thing about the leak was probably mundane neglected maintenance by a cheap innkeeper.
