  1. When I saw the beginning of the title in the browser tab I was totally expecting it to be Broke Backpack Mountain.

  2. Steven is gonna find Bigfoot, calling it.

  3. “what have I done”

  4. Steven: “Welp, here’s to saving their asses again. Borf.”

Exactly my thought when I got to that last panel.

  5. Since Tara and Bev traveled by train, I think they lost relatability for 100% of the US audience

Not gonna lie: I totally thought they were on a bus, up until the last panel. Then finally it clicked on me, ahh, they took a train. As an American, I totally know what trains are. I’ve seen them in movies. Murder on the Orient Express. Several westerns. 😀

      1. Yeah, now I’m thinking they’re somewhere in europe; if they’d been on a passenger train in the US, it’s unrealistic to not see them spend most of their vacation stuck on the train sitting in sidings waiting for 50-mile long freight trains taking priority.

Steven´s big outdoor adventure. Here we go!

  7. Where do Tara and Beverly live? They speak English, own a left hand drive car, celebrate Christmas and get snow part of the year, but Tara does not tolerate high temperatures well. The availability of passenger trains in much of the USA is very limited, but they do exist. 🙂

    1. They do exist, but they wouldn’t be your ‘broke’ transport option most of the time. I looked at taking a train from Philly to DC once and it would have been cheaper to fly.

      1. That depends on which train you take, how close the date of travel is, which day of the week, and what time of day. Amtrak’s Northeast Regional isn’t really that expensive if you get tickets well in advance and it’s not peak travel times/days.

    2. Canada maybe?

  8. Steven will be fine. He fears nothing
