  1. Oh no… Someone just got gremlin neighbours xD

  2. ok now you cant tell me they aint getting together

    1. They wont. It has been confirmed.

    2. They ARE together, it’s just not a standard relationship with sex and romance. This entire arc is about showing that they’re committed to each other.

      1. Romance is overrated and fades pretty quickly. And plenty of couples’ sex lives drop to zero or near it after a few years.

        1. lmao you sad asf

        2. Well, here’s someone who hasn’t met the right person for them…

        3. You just haven’t found your person. Married 40 years, the romance is stronger than ever. Sex, well the spirit is more than willing but the flesh is not what it used to be. That’s age not desire, she still makes me tingle just walking across a room.

        4. the projectionest of projectioning

      2. I would say they have found their romance, in watching movies together, and the little cuddling they do before bed. Maybe it doesn’t look quite like what you usually expect, but it works for them and that’s all that really counts.

    3. It’s a queerplatonic relationship, my dude.

The part you need to focus on is ‘PLATONIC’.

      1. Relationship status: Partner in Crime

  3. I dont think Tara is gonna be a big fan of them living literally next Door xD lovely ending

    1. Honestly, considering what we know about Noah and Sarah and their fondness for messing with people. I think the fact that it might annoy Tara to have the two of them living next door is probably part of the appeal of living next door, and even if that isn’t true, being in close proximity will make it easy to pull all kinds of pranks, which I would also guess is something that appeals to both of them.

      1. they might even get meta, and really prank Tara by leaving her alone :}

  4. From panel 2, I was absolutely expecting for a moment that they would announce that they were getting married, entirely for the benefit of trolling everyone moreso than any benefit to themselves.

    1. Look, the tax break from it though would be very good for the both of them.

Even then, if they live together long enough they’ll have a “Common Law Marriage” in the eyes of society.

    2. I could see them doing it for legal reasons, if nothing else. Though the shock value of it can’t be ignored.

  5. I get the feeling that missed a whole lot of drama between Noah’s parents “owing him” and the witch moving out of her home

    1. I figured that when he said his parents owe him, he meant “Well they bought Tara and Bev a house and promised ME something similar so I’m calling it in”

      1. Exactly. Parents won the lottery and offered to buy houses for the two kids. Tara took them up on it first. Noah didn’t have reason to, until just now. Now that he’s met the chaotic gremlin of his dreams. 😀

  6. I love Tara and Beverly.
And I must say – this comic is quickly becoming the Noah and Sarah Show AND I HAVE NO REGRETS

  7. Did they just get fucking married?

    1. Nah, they just moved in together, after Noah somehow blackmailed his parents into buying him a house.

      1. Or just called in “You bought Tara a house” which I presume was an offer they made to both kids

        1. Probably had the money stashed away until he needed it.

        2. It’s even of the same design and right next door, so there really can’t be any accusations of parental favouritism.

    2. Getting married for the tax bracket

  8. I want to believe they utterly forgot Tara and Bev live next door.

    1. I want to believe they moved there just to screw with Tara and Bev.

    2. Those two are showing their commitment.

Committed to each other; committed to driving Tara crazy.

  9. Hell yeah, they got their own house!!!

  10. You know the writing is fire when you had to remind yourself to go back and look at Sarah’s.
Can’t wait to see more of their antics to get Tara to go bald

  11. Wait, so now they live next door to Tara and Bev? Guess we’ll be seeing a lot more of them.

  12. Where can I get Tara and Noah’s parents?
Trans-affirming, lesbian-enabling, AND they buy houses for their kids? I’ll happily have awkward thanksgivings in exchange!!

  13. Wait they moved into the witch’s house together as an unofficial couple. Seriously we need too give that witch some love.

  14. Has Noah been confirmed to be asexual, or aromantic? Or both?
I know he was at least one of them, but my memory is failing me on which one it was specifically.

    1. he’s asexual. top right of the page there’s a “Characters” tab that lists all their sexual orientations among other things

    2. Ace. No official or canonical note on whether he’s also aromantic or not, as yet.

  15. But but but… What about the witch? I need her to get some happiness!!

    1. how can she not afford it any more? business was lucrative and the boyfriend simply didn’t want to be generic. if witch really still needs someone else on the lease there are many willing options. we might be losing out on the “old times sake” hauntings, but she’s losing out on a whole suburban sprawl of shenanigans and doesn’t look happy about one iota of it. let’s hope stephen knows how to contact her sometime, at least to check in.

      1. I don’t think it’s about affording, I think just that she doesn’t need the big house anymore since she’s single again (if I remember correctly). My parents sold our old house too when they broke up, since neither had a need for such a big house, nor really the means to maintain it

        1. Panel three would appear to be the Witch talking – now, whether she;s just saying she can’t afford it is true or not could be debatable, but the character does say she can’t afford the house.

  16. Witch of many Jobs

I feel bad for the witch but Noah and Sarah will cause more chaos in Tara and Beverly´s lives than she could ever manage.

    1. True! She’s just not seeing the bigger picture.

  17. Man, everytime we see her I feel more sorry for that witch. Girl just can’t catch a break.

  18. It’s even funnier when you remember that Tara was the one who brought them together in the first place, in the hopes that they’d focus on each other and leave her and Bev alone. XD

  19. Happy for them, but I feel the plot escalated too quickly. I would’ve liked to have seen a little bit more leading up to this conclusion.

  20. …please tell me I’m not the only one who notices the bouses are blue team / red team coded

  21. Love the “Bust a Move” van.

  22. The witch getting to move away from Tara and Bev is probably for the best, if we’re being honest. Plus she can have some money now, I guess?

  23. AcesAreRealPeopleToo

Man the comments section on this site really just refuses to understand Noah and Sarah’s relationship. It’s kinda frustrating.

  24. Man, it’s depressing seeing a really strong depiction of asexuality, and still so many people refusing to get it.

“Oh, well they’ll definitely have sex now.”

“When are they going to ‘the next step'”

“When is Noah gonna put out for Sarah then?”

These are fictional characters and people here still seem unable to comprehend the idea of them being genuinely happy with one another’s company without having to fuck. Its pretty depressing, honestly.

    1. Those people are stubborn and silly. Don’t pay them any mind – they probably just want to see the two cuties in the way *they* want to see them, which is sad given how wonderfully queer this webcomic is.

From a non-ace queer gal – I get you, and I think this is an amazing depiction of asexuality, too!

  25. Dysfunctional Codependents

  26. So… Will they be together for Tax purposes?

  27. To piggyback off the comments about more pranks now that Sarah and Noah are right nextdoor to Tara and Beverly, one also has to remember Steven is there, and he won’t let things get too out of hand.

But it also means more Sarah/Noah/Steven shenanigans since he’s *right there.*

  28. I really wanted them to fuck, but this ace relationship is so nice that I don’t care anymore

  29. Yeah…. they will never fuck, not kiss not lable their relationship. But they definetly are a couple, is just a couple so much in their own terms that is confusing to compare with others. People ask if they are going to the next step, and probably, but the never step will never be sex. But each story arc of these two is them getting in the next step in how close they are and in how they will each be the co-pilot of the other’s life.

Notrt’s description put it very well. They are partners…. in crime, but still.

  30. These are basically Denji and Power, right?

  31. So are we never gonna get a sexual scene w/ Sarah, ever again? Like at least a solo scene?
    That sucks.

  32. So are we never gonna get a sexual scene w/ Sarah, ever again? Like at least a solo scene?
    Dang, that sucks.

  33. Yay! Tara and Bev will be SO happy* to learn that Noah and Sarah have moved in next door!

*for certain values of ‘happy’ 🙂

  34. I just binged this comic in an afternoon and I have to say, Noah and Sarah’s antics are my FAVORITE! From the beginning I was hoping for a sort of qpr, and while I don’t know if that’s the label they’d use of if there’s a need for any label, their friendship means everything to me, especially as an ace person myself. I also love how relatable Noah is, in a way where it was never really needed to spell out that he’s ace or even trans, you can just tell as you read along. Absolutely love the whole comic and looking forward to more!

  35. Honestly, i am a tad dissapointed that we didnt end up with a rom-com-y arc for them that ended in an actual relationship. these two could have had a great cute romance, and i am very much a sucker for cute romances. at the end of the day tho, they’re happy, and that’s what matters.

  36. Testicules the Magnificent

    They are essentially Team Rocket.

  37. Funny I forgot Noah was transmasc until these last two pages.
