  1. The suspense is killing me!

    1. I hope it lasts.

  2. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?!

  3. Why is this lady giving me the same vibes as the witch?

    1. She seems to have the same eye colour and a similar face. We’ve only seen eyes that colour on the Witch previously.

  4. So is steve immortal or When he actually does pass?Does he just get revived with the youth of a dog?Or is he like always reincarnated in the same body

    1. He’s a Timelord known as the Dogtor.

      1. ^^^ this

  5. Awwwww she has a picture of him

  6. Which one?!

  7. I suppose Mary has been showing the nursing home staff pictures of her dog throughout the decades that all look the same? I going to assume that Mary might be allowed to translate what Steven says without being bitten. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Photo on end table of bed.

  8. clones, I’m calling it

  9. The Plot Thickens ๐Ÿ˜ง๐Ÿฟ

  10. Tossing my guess in the ring, Steven’s family breeds unusually true so “which one are you?” is asking which pup.

  11. “Are you the Good Borf or the Bad Borf? Cherub, Seraph, Throne, Power, or Dominion?”

  12. I can’t imagine anything worse than being put in a nursing hone called last stop… It’s funny tho lol

  13. The thic plotens.

  14. I’m just a dog… who’s trying to go home… even after all the years away from what I’ve known!

  15. Dun dun dun…

  16. Given the life span of dogs. I’d say Randall is Steven’s great grandfather.

  17. “Last Stop Nursing Home?”

Now THAT’S cold! Hilarious, but cold!

  18. Do you think any of this will answer why Sarah can understand Steven, though?

    1. I’m still on the theory that Sarah has succubus blood in her, which explains the ability to talk to Steven and also the pointy teeth and her sexuality.

  19. “Last Stop Nursing Home” oh my god

  20. Yep, Steven is definitely a descendant of Randall. “Which one are you?” implies a litter of puppies.

    1. JustSomeGirlOrOther

Or you could take the Battlestar Galactica (modern version) idea and say that this one is Number 4

  21. Thereโ€™s more than one Steven out there! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

  22. Last Stop Nursing Home?

Bit on the fuckin’ nose there innit?

  23. Witch of many Jobs

Which one? Is there more than one Steven?!

  24. JustSomeGirlOrOther

I’m getting a Battlestar Galactica (modern version) vibe here. ๐Ÿ˜€
“BORF!” (translation: “So Say We All”)

  25. Why does the old lady look like and old Tara?
And why are the only characters listed Tara, Beverly, and Steven when there’s 4 people in that last panel?
And why did old-Tara say “Which one are you” instead of something more endearing like, “Which of the pups are you?” and was able to recognize the footsteps despite child dogs not having necessarily the same foot-padding sound as their parents and (hypothetically) having aged since being dropped off at the pound before the founding of the pound?

    1. On the character listing point, it takes a few appearances before someone starts to appear in there.

  26. I like how the nursing home is called last stop… it literally being someone’s last stop till death is crazy…

  27. Steven is actually a dog shaped terminator, but Skynet has completely screwed up the plan because the lady has already put everything into motion but the future computers are stuck in a for-loop.

  28. theory proposition
so far the only people who can talk to steven are the succubi the ghosts and sarah we can assume that the old lady can talk to steven as well
my theory is that the cave ghost is a dog whisperer who then led a lineage to the old man ghost who married the old lady who i’m theorizing is a succubi and then all other succubi are her sister except for the witch with the old lady potentially teaching them to speak steven and then the witch is the old lady’s child making them 50% succubus and then the witch had sarah as a child making her 25% succubi though still having the ability to to speak steven
(assuming they can only speak to steven in particular we could replace all mentions “dog” with steven’s lineage
