I’m with Tara on numbers going up making brain feel good. Namely cause of PSN Trophies having a leveling system and Xbox Achievements having a sort of high score thing that keeps going up the more you earn.
I kinda wish I could break away from that since PC versions are usually the better option, even if Steam Achievements don’t really have any sort of progression system like that.
Oh, so perhaps the other shoe is mild number go up addiction and their… friend being sad/bored by the method. These are much harder problems to solve than real tangible issues with the machine itself
I’m hoping that app doesn’t record the horny energy per individual! That’s a great way to cause relationship issues. (“According to this, you weren’t feelin’ it a while ago. But you said I was doin’ great. What gives?”)
