You could read literally anything else, and yet you’re here, complaining it isn’t the comic you want to read. Instead of trying to complain and whine in the hopes that the author will change things to fit your tastes, please try reading something else.
It might not have been the most exciting, but I’m really glad for this arc. Answers and lore are good to have, and not everything needs to explode in complexity constantly. A moment to breathe and resolve some things can be great for controlling tension.
Great arc, and plenty food for thought – and for new, future stories. I particularly want to see the reunion of Sarah’s parents, and Sarah teaming up with her Mom to guilt-trip Simon into all kinds of funny things! Speaking of which, since Donna Cottellini hasn’t yet appeared anywhere but in flashback, it’s still a mystery how close she is to her daughter, and how she feels (and if she even knows) about Sarah’s choice of partner. Please show us that, Nortuet!
There’s plenty of other comics you could read. You don’t have to force yourself to be here. If you’re not enjoying yourself, do something else. Acting like a Karen won’t make the author change the comic to fit your precise desires of what you want to read.
I’ve been following this comic for over a year but I’m sorry to say this arc was kinda disappointing. Nothing really happened aside from Teresa losing her magic.
So, is this a hard reset, or is this an end of the line?
Housepets kinda had the same problem, a seasonal gimmick taking up too much story room until it WAS the story, then needed a hard end to it.
I’m hoping the Nortverse survives and goes back to being the mundane, happy lesbian couple and their friends and somewhat weird dog
The arc was really enjoyable, but not actually watching the panel when the energy left her to go back to the leyline made quite confusing the reading. idk, maybe just me
I really doubt things will be back to normal, given the amount of drama and wild things they got up to without the witch even actually getting involved… but literal magic may be gone, though hopefully they create more of their own.

What a waste of an arc.

Nah bro. this was one of the best arcs in a while!
And I love how it kept the continuity flowing for the grand arc that’s been brewing for *years* now.

Yeah, this has been a fun arc! Some really clever use of the comic format too, recently. The comic just keeps getting better.

yup

This arc ensures the comic will be more grounded, the yearly magic was getting out of hand
Peter Huppertz
I did not perceive this as a problem.

Exactly, it is a comic it can be as mundane or as wild as the author wants. The wild stuff is one of the great allures of the medium.

Probably a lttle bit of Column A and a little bit of Column B. They will play it by ear once the moment arrives.

Chill out mf, a dude can dislike a chapter lmao
Peter Huppertz
Keep your shirt on., dude You have the right to say that you disliked a chapter. By that token, Lysander has the right to voice their opinion on that.

Morgan Freeman – But things were not ‘more normal’. Not by a long shot.

I’m with you there. I’m quite sure someone will invent something…

‘Member when this comic was actually good? You know, just a little fun, slice-of-life silliness? I ‘member!

Great arc ! Can’t wait to see how normal everything is going to be now…

Hopefully this means we can get back to the normal slice-of-life relationship stuff now!
