It is an interesting dynamic with Steven. He understands human speech, but the only humans that understand him are Sarah and Teresa (maybe) and at least one ghost. We know that Steven does not like Sarah translating what he says, but so far it seems that Steven is able to make his wishes known to Tara and Beverly without too much difficulty. There may come a day when Steven needs Sarah to tell Tara and Beverly exactly what he is saying. That might be an interesting conversation.
I love how here he’s a good boy and would be a good big brother, whilst I’m pretty sure that there are entire universes somewhere that shake in fear and horror when they hear the sound of a… borf.
