  1. Tara being the paranoid one is not what I expected but also I am not surprised by?

  2. Admittedly, the thought of Bev and Tara having kids never crossed my mind.
Would Steven be an all seeing Eldritch protector?

  3. She is her mother’s daughter 😂

  4. Is this the precursor to them having a kid!?!?
if so will the method be magic, science or adoption o.O

    1. with this comic the answer could very well end up being yes

Steven is sleeping deeply, you can just watch the movie Tara, everything is good.

  6. So nobody gonna mention the characters on the show look awfully familiar? It’s it just me? Do your characters just do happen to look similar? I’m sorry

    1. Yeah, I thought the woman was Penny at first, and got confused.

    2. I think that’s just the artstyle

  7. They’re watching soap opera trash? Oh yeah, Tara is a shameless author of trashy romance novels. 🙂

  8. Is anyone gonna bring up the wife in the soap opera planning to cheat on her comatose husband after she gives birth?

    1. Hey. She’s not plaaaanning to. She just can’t guarantee it won’t happen.
Joke aside, of course that’s just another case of everything in the comic being very self aware (like the store and brand names). It’s a soap opera, and character in melodramatic soaps says stuff like “I’ll be faithful forever” only to have a dramatic cheating plotline in the next season because drama, so much dramaaaa. So in this one they’re just like “nah, yeah. We all know there is gonna be a cheating plotline and the husband will coincidentally wakes up at the most climatic time. “

  9. Guessing she learned how to mom from her mom, while Beverly learned from Little Dad.

  10. Tara is a bunch older than Noah. Even if she was too young to have done any real babysitting, there’s no way she doesn’t have memories of him as a toddler.

Seen Noah’s personality, the problem can possibly be that she actually have memories of him as toddler.

    2. I remember when my siblings were toddlers, i’m still terrified to hold babies. Or more exactly il NOW al afraid of it.
There is a huge difference between interacting with babies when you’re yourself a kid with little grasp of the sense of responsability and no realisation of how fragile babies are (while also resistants in some ways), and as an adult realising the weight of everything.

  11. Witch of many Jobs

I wonder if they think about IVF or adoption

    1. I said so before, and I’ll do it again until I’m proven wrong (or right): there IS a male who’s almost genetically identical to Beverly, and who’s also fertile – and since Tara’s the bisexual half of our protagonist couple, she could even approach it the traditional way instead of through those you suggested. And stranger things than that have happened in this universe already…

      1. Yeah, no… I hope not. I mean, they could ask him to be a donnor, but what you suggest would imply that Tara, Beverly, Dan and Penny are all fine with the two of them having sex until Tara actually get pregnant…
I don’t see them going that route anyway, especially with Bev and Dan being super competitive to an unhealthy degree.

  12. I remember being terrified of what to do if baby wakes up before I had kids, and it’s just something you gotta live through for it to stop being as scary.

Food, diaper change, and cuddles, and if none of that works you just gotta wait til they cry themselves out, too tired from being upset to keep their eyes open.
