Christmas Favorites #6

  1. Wow. I really love Noah and Sarah’s relationship now, it feels like it’s flipped ever since they moved in next to Tara and Bev.

  2. It is not always about “do I want to do that”, but would I like to hang with friends :{

    1. So much this. Just a “me and ‘x’ are gonna go do this thing if you want to come” is so nice. Even if you don’t/can’t come, it’s still nice to know that the person is thinking about you. For me, with work, I travel a lot and often get a “oh idk you were home so i asked other person instead”. Bro, just ASK. Always being the one who has to ask gets old and depressing fast.

  3. Sarah can be herself with Noah and not always have to wear the “Ca-Ray-Zee Partay Grrl” persona.

And he can actually talk about his feelings without being hip checked by mom and Tara’s unconscious “I will turn this conversation to be about me to show I empathize” mechanism.

  4. Sarah has a job? Also, they couldn’t have just explained more than just that text?

    1. Sarah is an accountant according to her character profile. First time I’ve seen her refer to her job at all.

      1. Don’t worry, I think everyone kinda forgets both Tara and Sarah are, indeed, employed. Their jobs hardly come up. Sarah’s especially. As far as I can tell it’s been mentioned in the comic a maximum of twice?

      2. Trust me, when you’re an accountant, your work is rarely relevant to your friends, and you don’t mention or discuss it all that much. It’s a seperate life. And I’m not surprised the story is not referring to the job every few pages.

  5. I was going to comment on how weirdly conventional Sarah’s outfit is. It never really occurred to me that she must have a job. And presumably tailored blouses.
I want to whap this entire family with the Use Your Words bat.

  6. Did open communication hurt these people!?

  7. Love how absolutely right about the situation, more or less, Sarah is. Mom didn’t ask because they didn’t even think it was a reasonable request to make. And Tara probably didn’t ask because… she lives next door, they could hang out basically whenever.

Thou I feel this problem could have easily been solved by mom simply adding, “perhaps later?” To her text. Then again she isn’t aware their is a problem to solve also if the problem was solved so soon then we wouldn’t have much of a story would we?

    1. Responding with something a bit less blunt than “No point” probably would help matters as well.

  8. Sara as an OL… I wasn’t expecting her to get any hotter, but here we are. Thank you, Nort.

  9. Witch of many Jobs

Just because she isn´t right right now does not mean she isn´t right in general

  10. Damn,,, Sarah is so attractive

  11. Sooo…this is going to blow up pretty soon. Hopefully it leads to more open communication and less grudges.

  12. Noah, you’ve shown such a disinterest in things before now that you’re going to have to repair the bridges a bit before people can cross them. It’s only been relatively recently that you and our sister finally came to an understanding about how far to push the jokes.
