Actually, given the framing with the relief and Tara, I am now convinced that the comic will end with Bev, Tara, and Steven falling back in time and building that hut in the distant past, and Steven is just an eternal paradox.
Some questions. Is Steven sensing the presence of ghosts right now? Does Steven come when Tara calls him because he wants to, or is he compelled to do so?
