And Steven definitively know that he’s Sarah’s father, as well as he know that he studied Teresa(Witch). I don’t know why he want for the truth to stay hidden, but he wouldn’t act that way if he didn’t knew all this, and perhaps more.
Panel 2, that is Teresa talking to Sarah and saying “That’s your dad, right?”
So, we don’t “know” it. Could be a twist in the next comic where Sarah shrugs and say she’s never seen that man before.

Given the emphasis on ‘dad’ I would actually say Teresa/witch is referring to herself here.
Like asking Sarah “this is the male parental figure one would call dad, right?” So basically telling Sarah “he is the guy who raised/educated/trained me, and he’s the closest to that position I had as a child if this was a normal (non magical/psionic) family.”

My theory is, that Teresa isn’t referring to him as Sarah’s dad. That the ‘you’ is in fact a general you, given the emphasis on ‘dad’ and this “he’s sort of in charge”. As in, she’s asking her “this is the male parental figure people call dad” rather than “that’s your (Sarah’s) dad” because he was the one overseeing Teresa’s education/training as a child and thus kinda slipping into that role (if we were to compare it to a mundane family)
So… Sarah’s dad works for the government, raised elder terriers, was in charge of what seems to be a child super human program of which a young Witch was part of as one of said super humans. Man, that’s a big lore drop condensed into a single page
I am just paitently waiting for Teresa to be added to the characters bio list. And also, probably nothing.. but funny that sarahs sexuality is described in the bio as: “worthy of scientific study” when her dad litteraly did scientific studies..
Hate to say it, Steven, but you are way out of line. Teresa’s childhood treasures are hers alone. Sarah deserves the truth about herself. And you are at risk of being Bad Dogged.
I friggin called it that this guy is related to Sarah. Damn, it feels good to be right, though I’d never have guessed that he is also connected to the Witch. This is turning out very interesting.
