Wow. This quickly went in a totally different direction to when I bought in to the “Bev takes management classes” story. I wonder where this is all going. It’s kind of exiting. All these connections are crazy!
I fully expect Bev won’t make a major appearance, because Tara will try her best to keep her out of whatever drama pops up. After all she promised her peace and quiet, so she can concentrate on learning.
I can’t wait for Tara to tell Bev everything she missed in this storyline. 😀
Wait how is Tara connected to Teresa because originally she thought she was an imaginary friend right? Tara also guessed Steven’s name right first try? And she’s know Sarah the longest?
My theory is still that he’s Teresa’s “dad” (not biological but also not adopted but still fulfills that role). The way she talked about him in the previous strip sounds more like her asking Sarah about dads in general. As in, “this is the male parental figure people call dad” rather than “that’s your (Sarah’s) dad” because he was the one overseeing Teresa’s education/training as a child and thus kinda slipping into that role.
I am Delighted by all of these little Lore things beeing revealed… but part of me fears, since we’re approaching halloween… that most of these things will turn out non-canon.
To Azrael, I still don’t know how to comment directly so this is the best I can do
The Halloween comics are canon, a character who debuted in them and has actively acknowledged them as actually happening to varying degrees in definitively canon pages is in this very comic
But letting Sarah translate would definitively goes against his “I’m just a dog” cover.
Since his brothers and sister sensed his presence, I guess that Steven did the same. Therefore his best option is to stay silent and let Sarah’s father (as long as we can assume so far) do the explanation.
