Sarah’s Mom #11

  1. She’s onto him

  2. I find that acceptable.

  3. Simon banging Donna may be THE argument to convince Sarah, judging by her face.

    1. I think it’s more Sarah being a bit of a troll and seeming to enjoy making other people uncomfortable.

  4. I don’t really like being like this in public, but I really don’t blame him for wanting to do it with Sarah’s mom. She’s friggin hot. Hell, imho, Sarah’s just as pretty.

    1. Where do you think Sarah got it from? XD

    2. Note that wide open spaces, like a park during wintry weather, can be surprisingly ‘private’ for conversational purposes. You have distance, and audibility drops off fast over a fairly short distance, unless you’re shouting (and maybe even then if there’s a lot of hustle and bustle).
And it has the added advantage that neither participant feels cornered because they can’t easily leave. If they get to a point where Sarah needs some space, she can step away and link back up later.
Now, sure, if you’re the target of government investigators, or you’re planning on banging, this sort of locale is less than ideal, especially in the era of modern surveillance tech. But this should be fine.

      1. Aye on all counts. This is as close to “neutral ground” as you can get in peacetime. All parties can easily exit the conversation if need be, and nobody is around to eavesdrop. It’s just you, them, and the words between you. No social pressure, no physical pressure.

    3. It’s a comic

    4. You’d be surprised how private it can be in such a situation. There doesn’t seem to be anyone else around, it’s not like they’re yelling, and even if people were around, you’d be surprised how many people know to mind their own business.

      post a sign about an Amway meeting and folk will stay away in droves :}

  5. Donna is Sarah with 20ish more years of practice. He’d be a fool not to.

  6. she really is her mothers’ daughter lmfao

  7. Sarah being blunt is both hilarious, and very her. Can’t wait for more shenanigans, so keep up the good work, Nort!

  8. Simon is Teresa’s dad? I thought he just collected her and delivered her to the center where they studied her?

    1. It’s probably meant as in “adopted”. I don’t remember it being mentioned anywhere that he’s the biological dad. The way he tried his best to take care of her while in lab is what gives me the idea that they kinda see each other as family. Although, Teresa probably has felt betrayed after the way she got out of said lab…

    2. a reader among thousands

He’s the one who cared about her between the moment he got her and her escape.
I don’t remember if Nortuet gave ages or not, but she was still in a pushchair when he found her, and looked like a mid teenager when she destroyed the lab. So, yes, he’s her “dad”, because she never had another father figure in her life.

  9. He looks genuinely concerned in that last panel. Nort trying to throw a curve ball on us. XD

    1. For my money, Simon and Donna are NOT banging again. They’re just on good terms and arranged this weekend to try and tell Sarah about her heritage. But they’re going about it like… well… Simon and Donna. Sarah didn’t lick it off the ground, after all.

  10. they better be banging.

  11. Nice to see Sarah is at least somewhat OK with it, it seems.
I do wonder what Donna and Noah are talking about in the back there, though.
