That said, based on shenanigans from everyone else in this comic, Donna could be scheming *and* sincerely interested in spending more time with Simon.
It’s also possible that they just want to get back into a contact in a mature and healthy way and you just have weird vibes about it because of the recency of certain revelations. Understandable weird vibes, but still.
