  1. I feel like that is a Lot of wine poured in that glass. Also I don’t drink wine , so that may be normal

    1. It’s a big glass, and is about twice as full as a wine-waiter would pour.
That said, I’d pour that much or more. But white wine, I don’t like red.

  2. So…when our you getting married and giving me grandchildren?

A conversation every adult child dreads.

    1. I hope that is not where this is going. That is the kind of cliche situation that this comic historically avoids. Even though this is the first her mom has met Noah, she at least seems familiar with him, so hopefully Sarah has explained at least some things about their relationship to her already.

      1. a reader among thousands

Donna have already seen Noah at least once, it was just behind the scene. In the fourth page from this arc, she said that it’s good to see him again.

    2. Sarah: Well he’s ace and trans soooo

      1. Being in the aro-ace spectrum might be relevant for this conversation. Being trans isn’t. Remember folks: adoption is always an option.

For the aro-ace part: a family might not be what Sarah and Noah are aiming for here. They’re really good friends. Doesn’t necessarily translate to being parents together though…

  3. Aw, that’s sweet

  4. Ah, the old switcheroo. You underestimate the master, Sarah.

  5. I do wonder who’s name is actually on the mortgage/deed.
I suspect Donna means this literally, she didn’t say ‘boyfriend’. She’s know Sarah for quite a long time, and I bet sees more of the ‘sweet and silly’ Sarah with Noah then she has seen of the, “oh, you want me to be sexy? OKAY I’ll BE SEXY >:3 ” Sarah.

  6. Tequila Mockingbird

Awwwwww, that’s nice, seeing Sarah’s mom being supportive. 10/10.

  7. Donna has a point. Where is the relationship going?

  8. Witch of many Jobs

Just how long has it been, is there a real way to know?

    1. They had a “date night” (getting drunk in public and being nuisances) in March of 2023. They met the Christmas before that, and were already compatible enough that they were trying to prank Tara.

The Family Gathering was in July, and they moved in together in November.

So, taking the latter, two-ish years?
