That is unsettlingly similar to an off-the-cuff announcement I got from my mom about two weeks before they moved… Is this like a normal thing for parents to do to their adult kids?
I mean… What did they “do to” their adult kids? It’s their house. If they don’t need it, and they’d like to use the money from its sale for fun shit… Sounds valid to me? I don’t see why they’d need to do anything other than let people know.
Its more like.. timing? Instead of saying ‘oh you’ll never be coming back here because we’re selling it and leaving the country for a couple of years’ you kinda.. build up to it? you mention it maybe before the 11th hour.

I think the Sarah and Noah ark is perfectly fine as you’ve so creatively made them. And if I didn’t like them, I’d certainly tell you what exactly I wasn’t fond of instead of just generally dogging on their arc. That’s just me tho. Love everything you make!
Other times you get folks who mess with you so often that when they’re suddenly serious with you, you assume it’s yet another joke. Case in point; when my brother announced he and his wife were expecting… I laughed it off and said “ha ha ha, nice try. I’m not falling for that one.”
When he and my sister-in-law stared at me with dead silence, it was only then it finally clicked.
