I know it’s a small thing, but I love how many scenes have characters with their hands in their pockets. Like, everything’s chill, we’re dealing with change but we can work through it, etc. It’s just a very comfy vibe.
A couple of these felt overly sudden (as someone who’s mum also decided to go travelling after retiring last year, I don’t get why Tara blew up like that; yeah, it’s kinda sudden but they’re not living together anymore and her parents shouldn’t have to run their life plans by her), but overall this was a cute, engaging arc that showed most of the characters handling regular domestic issues like adults.
I really enjoyed Dan and Penny with Dan just being a dumbass and Conrad living his life and Bev being surprised by how that hit her. It felt a lot more normal and grounded than… well, almost anything else that gets made, really 😅 It’s nice
And yeah, the last panel of everyone just hanging out is adorable ❤️
Is Conrad transmasc and the twins’ birth parent as well? If no are the twins IVF, or was their Daddy with another woman either poly with Conrad or before?
