Called it. It was Penny doing a subtle jab at something Dan had said earlier. Probably something about her being uncomfortable (I’m guessing uncomfortable around Tara and Bev for whatever reason).
This seems very harsh when we don’t even know what he’s apparently done at this point. My guess is that he told her about a stupid dream he had and she took it personally (because of how ‘dream’ is emphasised here) but we literally won’t know until they actually talk about it.
It’s more the “all women have connection” bit.
I don’t know it feels like some very unpleasant guy blaming others for trying to figure out what he’s done.
This is going to be one of those arguments that men just don’t get isn’t it? like he asked her if she wants to join her in the gym to help loose the baby weight… or said she seemed tired and asked if she needed help looking after the baby. You know something well-intentioned and harmless that for some reason is the same as calling her a fat lasy cow…
