They are communicating on a deep level on children and animals have. They will soo disappear from the comic only to reappear a few issues late with Noah haveing learned a life lesson. In his adulthood he will write a book about a alternate universe (narnia, wonderland, Oz.) and his magical dog mentor. But we will all know… we all know whats going on…

I swear that was at least one chapter in Mary Poppins.
I tend towards cynical agnostic and dismissive of superstitious cultists. But also acknowledge the Universe is a big place and there may be subtle energies yet to be understood in their interactions between gravity wells, quantum effects of conscious observations, electromagnetic environments, …
I won’t claim to know there’s no such thing as ghosts, but I’d just like to note that the quantum thing is based on a widely held misunderstanding. The whole “observation” thing with quantum stuff is actually more like “interaction”; it has nothing to do with consciousness, it happens whether there are people or animals looking at things or not. I get the impression that a lot of quantum physics people really regret that they ended up using the word “observation” because of the implications that people would reasonably, but wrongly, take from that word.
The Dan and Noah dynamic is really working for me. They’re like platonic Tara and Bev. Sarah and Noah often just feed off each other’s own chaos. Playing off a more skeptical or realist, sort of neutral personality really makes the back and forth funnier.

Sarah’s smile is truly frightening 😆
Leyllara
Sarah be giving the smile of a hypersexual that somehow managed to control herself in a sexless relationship with an ace.

It sounds like live-action D&D (minus the swingers) time!
Witch of many Jobs
In a world where ghosts are real, I wonder how common that knowledge is.

Yeah turns out you laid it on so thick I could scrape it out with a shovel.

I like the implied dismissal of demons as a thing, when WE know that unionized succubuses are real. Little does Noah’s purist occultism realize . . .
Princess Zelda
I’m getting more of an “at least it’s something to do” vibe from Dan here.
